Andrew “Intense” Pirelli signs with mYinsanity

Today we are very proud to announce the newest member of our StarCraft 2 team, Andrew "Intense" Pirelli!

A Grandmaster Terran player hailing from Southern California, Intense has played within eight different teams (Team aiR, Legit Gaming, DuST, Clarity, LYGF, ROOT, IvD, and PSISTORM) in the last four years on his quest to find a stable training environment where he can focus on becoming a top contender.

Intense has been a top NA prospect lately, as some of his most notable results are placing 1st in the “Breakout Invitational 3” hosted by FearDragon, where he beat Kelazhur 4-0.  He also made it to the quarter finals of the more recent “Hell, It’s Aboot Time” tournament hosted by BaseTradeTV where he made it out of the group stage by beating Bioice 2-0 and Kelazhur 2-0.

Intense is currently ranked #110 in the world and #4 in the USA on Aligulac, with an impressive 58.15% overall win rate for all matchups.  He had this to say about joining mYinsanity and his thoughts on the future…

“I expect to grow as a player by practicing with my new teammates and by staying at the team house sometime in the near future. Through this, I will be able to become one of the very best in North America, if not the world while representing mYinsanity.  I’m really excited to be get going, as they seem like a great group of guys. This is going to be intense.”

Stefan “PengWin” Mott welcomed his new teammate with these kind words…

“I’m really excited to have Intense join the team. He’s been on our radar for a long time now and we’ve been very short on Terran players for quite a while.  Intense brings some much needed depth to our squad, and with his recent performances including a top 8 finish at “Hell, It’s Aboot Time”, I’m confident that he will be a fantastic addition to our roster.”
