Dominating at Home

mYinsanity's Hearthstone players had an amazing performance at EEvent in Switzerland earlier this month. The boys reminded everyone that mYinsanity is not only strong away but at home as well!

The EEvent LAN party took place April 15th and our Hearthstone players were in attendance. Not only did they attend EEvent but Nerdlol, CleanBandit and EntryFee managed to steamroll through the Hearthstone tournament with the three of them taking the top three spots.

The tournament featured five rounds in Swiss-System followed with a double elimination phase for the top 8. The format was Bo5 Conquest where players would present 4 deck where one of which would be vetoed by the opponent . The run was not easy and featured tough opponents but mYinsanity managed to prevail as a whole, even with our players facing each other in some instances.

The mYinsanity boys had a few words to share following EEvent:

Nerdlol “I really enjoyed the EEvent. I helped setting up the LAN and later played the HS tournament for mYi which I was able to win. There were a lot of strong opponents and our team managed to get 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Unfortunately we (the mYi HS team) had to battle each other a couple of times. Big thanks to all the sponsors and planners for this insane event!”

CleanBandit: “EEvent was our first LAN as a team and I was pretty proud that our HS team got top 3. We’re looking forward to the next LAN to compete against the best players

EntryFee: “The location of the tournament was amazing, we faced each other a lot of times but it was great that we got a top 3 between us. I felt good with my performance and had a lot of fun playing some of my favorite decks.”

Final Standings and Prizes:

1st Place – Nerdlol – 300 CHF

2nd Place – CleanBandit – 200 CHF

3rd Place – EntryFee – 100 CHF

The prize pool was sponsored by Medion Erazer.

We are always excited to see our players preform well at local events and we are sure that the best is still to come, both locally and internationally.  Stay tuned!
