Introducing the mYinsanity Editorial Team!

In early February, I was awarded the opportunity to become mYinsanity’s new Editor in Chief.  It has been an exciting few weeks since then, as I have been moving towards providing high quality, consistent content for fans of our team and eSports in general.  You may have noticed a posting I made a few weeks ago looking for writers to work with, and I am very pleased to say that the response was astounding.

I have sifted through countless applications and have finally secured a lineup of three very talented people looking to either begin their writing career or build on the experience they have already accumulated.  Please join me in welcoming the three newest members of the mYinsanity editorial team!

Steven “SMJ” Johnson

Steven comes to us with experience in blogging and what it takes to produce meaningful content.  He is currently enrolled in the University of Alabama studying mathematics and has future aspirations to become a high school math teacher.  Steven has a strong love for eSports and follows many games such as StarCraft 2, HearthStone and CS:GO.  Look for him to contribute many HearthStone articles and bring you the latest news in regards to our players and the scene in general.  Steven had this to say about joining mYinsanity…

“It is such an honor and privilege to be able to join the editing side of such a well respected team like mYinsanity and the great HearthStone community.  I am looking forward to spending time with the community as our game continues to grow.  I hope to give you guys some quality content that will entertain top-tier players and help new players learn the complex strategies of Hearthstone as well.”

Liam “CatBug” Barrett

Liam is a young entrepreneur from Boise, Idaho.  His full time job involves content creation, SEO and link building while sharing specific website resources.  Liam is extremely passionate about eSports and StarCraft 2 in particular.  He manages to track almost all events, is active in the community and still manages to find time to play himself while landing a top diamond ladder position.  Liam is excited to deliver top rate StarCraft 2 content and had this to say about joining mYinsanity…

“I’m very glad to be apart of such an amazing eSports team.  I look forward to producing some great articles for all the fans to enjoy, and also providing some good insight for the StarCraft 2 community.  I’m excited to see where mYi is going and proud to be able to represent them.”

Skye “Nightris” Bui

Skye is very well known to many in the StarCraft 2 community as a talented interviewer and reporter.  Her past experience involves working with Quantic, Acer and BaseTradeTV.  She has attended countless events from MLG, Red Bull Battlegrounds and WCS while covering the players and teams involved.  Skye is looking to further her knowledge of eSports by dipping into the DOTA2 and HearthStone scenes, while the experience she has already gained will almost certainly benefit her in doing this.  Skye will be covering multiple games and events for us, and had this to say about joining mYinsanity…

“Hi everyone! I’m excited to work with mYinsanity and this group of talented writers.  Please look forward to the content we’re creating in the future!”
