mYinsanity’s view on the Logitech G100s

Since mYinsanity and Logitech G teamed up, they’ve kindly supported us with their peripherals. I had a chat with two of our players to hear what the opinion is on the G100s mouse.

Logitech have definitely built up a reputation in the past for designing exceptional gaming mice, including the world famous Logitech G9X, and the Logitech G100S more than lives up to their high standards. I’v e used a fair number of mice over the past couple of years, and the G100S is by far my favorite. From the size and shape to the options for DPI settings, it’s everything that I, as a gamer, want from a piece of equipment. The shape of the G100s is practically ideal for anybody, no matter how you hold the mouse. The Koreans on our team like it because of its similar size and shape to their previous mice. I play on a pretty low DPI setting (800), but the mouse allows you to up to as far as 2500 DPI, far more than anybody playing Starcraft II like us will need. If you like having a couple of sensitivity options on hand, the G100S has a great button that allows you to cycle through three different DPI settings, too! All in all, it shapes up to be an excellent piece of equipment for anybody looking to play gaming at a competitive or a casual level, and is more than a worthy successor to the Logitech G9X. Anybody looking into buying a new mouse should definitely consider it as a great option, alongside the Logitech G240 Cloth Mousepad for some really great synergy.

He loves that the mouse has a very simple design and is comfortable for his hands. For our Finnish Zerg players having less buttons on the G100s is a big upside, as he finds too many buttons disrupting during gameplay. The simplicity, the lack of buttons and the general feeling of the mouse make the G100s Serral’s weapon of choice.
