mYinsanity welcomes Thomas “Khaldor” Kilian

2017 promises to be an exciting year for Heroes of the Storm, and therefore also an exciting year for us here at mYinsanity!

With the exciting news coming out of BlizzCon that 2017 will feature a revamp of the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship, it was only fitting that mYinsanity return to the scene. Only this time, we have chosen a more nontraditional route by signing Thomas “Khaldor” Kilian!

Khaldor has been a long time member of the Esports industry, with an extensive list of experience and accolades spanning the last twelve years over multiple games such as Warcraft 3, Starcraft 2, DotA 2, FIFA, and Heroes of the Storm! He is currently working towards bringing content to fans of Heroes of the Storm through casting various online and offline events and creating videos for his YouTube channel.

Among the many HotS online tournaments Khaldor spends his time casting are the Zotac Cup, Heroes Lounge, GosuGamers, Enter the Storm and GO4Heroes. He also casts various online qualifiers for tournaments such as Dreamhack, GamesCom, HGC EU/NA, FragMaster Invitational and WCA.

In 2016, Khaldor has made great strides in his casting career with appearances at:

  • ESL Heroes of the Storm Championship – Katowice

  • Heroes of the Storm Spring Global Championship – Seoul

  • ESL Heroes of the Storm Championship – Leicester

  • DreamHack All-Stars – Austin

  • DreamHack All-Stars Summer – Jonkoping

  • DreamHack All-Stars – Valencia

  • ESL Heroes of the Storm Championship Gamescom – Cologne

  • WCA Europe National Finals – Cologne

Due to his strong commentary and analysis, Blizzard had therefore invited Khaldor to cast the 2016 Heroes of the Storm Fall Global Championship at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California! We continue to be impressed by his professionalism and passion for this great game, and are thrilled he had been given the chance to attend this premier event.

Here is what Khaldor had to say about joining the mYi family and his thoughts on the new HGC tournament structure next year…

“mYinsanity has always been an organization that understood the importance of supporting the Esports scene from the ground up. With StarCraft 2 they’ve already worked hard to support Korean players and build up the Esports infrastructure, a trend they continued with Heroes of the Storm. I am honored to be part of the mYinsanity family and am looking especially forward to what 2017 will bring, with Heroes of the Storm also taking a massive step forward by establishing the HGC 2017 league system!”

C√©dric Schlosser, CEO of mYinsanity had this comment in regards to adopting Khaldor into the mYinsanity family…

“I’ve known Khaldor for quiet some time now. He has casted countless games of our players over the years both in StarCraft 2 and Heroes of the Storm. I am really excited to welcome Khaldor to the family and to promote the mYi spirit through his awesome streams and followers. His laid back professionalism fits us perfectly and we are sure that he makes the perfect addition to our team. We will stride to provide the community with as much content from Khaldor as possible and this partnership will help Khaldor and us to achieve that.”
