mYinsanity’s Dota 2 team contending for a spot in JoinDota League’s Division 2!

After our Dota 2 Swiss team's roster changes two weeks ago, I caught up with them recently to see how their progress is coming along in the JoinDota League.

Since a 2-0 loss against “Team 81” also in Division 3, our team has turned things around to made a terrific run of three victories in a row.  Currently holding a 6-2 record at the moment, the boys have a really good chance to possibly reach the playoffs for Division 2.  This opportunity could allow them to advance into Division 2 next season, which would mean a division promotion since the team’s inception.  Our team’s support player and captain David “davy” Morf had this to say about the new roster…

“I’m really satisfied with the change and I think our cores are doing fine and in general our team is doing better.  Mainly because I think “asharon” and myself as the two supports can co-ordinate the team very well.  This resulted in us winning nearly every match in the scrims and every official game so far as well.  We’re doing great at the moment!”

He also gave some info about the team’s future…

“At the moment we’re uncertain if we’re going to attend Polylan. It’s mainly due to uncertainty if there will be real competition for us and the tournament is a bit far to travel too so we’re not sure if it’s worth the effort. Other than that, trying to reach Division 2 is our main goal right now.  If we reach it, we’ll most definitely try to participate in some smaller international tournaments.”

The new guy Dominic “odom” Esquivias has shared his first impressions about the team since joining…

“I feel really great being in this organisation. The team is also really nice and friendly. The synergy in the team is really good and at the moment we’re doing great in JoinDota league and we are getting better. I’ve known them all for so long and I played with them many times as a stand in. I’ve also played with them last December in a LAN tournament (Netgame) as a stand in for “VincentVega”.  Two weeks ago when “davy” asked me to join the team I immediately accepted because they’re all really good players and we’re good friends.

Like “davy” said already, we’re focused on making the jump to Division 2, which we have a really high chance of doing due to our performance recently. Afterwards we’re going for higher goals, of course. My personal goal would be winning the Majors and TI, so I will do everything I can to get there.”

We will be posting live coverage of our Dota 2 team on our social media accounts, so follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more info.
