Nerdlol wins BarStone Zurich XII!

Our very own Elia “Nerdlol” Del Favero managed to emerge victorious from last week's Swiss Fireside Gathering at BarStone Zurich XII.
“It was a great experience for me and that’s my first offline tournament win”

Nerdlol used three decks in this BarStone, a Secret Paladin, a Patron Warrior and a Midrange Combo Druid, with the latter being undefeated throughout the event. The Druid was pretty much a common combo druid, with the only exception being that instead of two Darnassus Aspirants or two Living Roots (which is the new trend), it had one of each.

In fact, Elia was not sure whether to bring the deck or not to his line up, and was thinking of replacing it with a Zoolock, but thankfully he finally rejected the idea and Malfurion didn’t let him down. As he states, “the most important part in Conquest is to get favourable match-ups”, so he started each series with either his Paladin or Warrior and then used Druid to counter his opponents’ decks. That way he was able to counter Control Priests and Warriors. As he says, “his opponents were expecting him to pick Druid as a first”.

So with no further delay, we present you the winning line-up including the Druid that went undefeated for the whole event.
