The new era of mYinsanity StarCraft

For many years mYinsanity was one of the strongest StarCraft 2 teams in the world, competing against the best of the best and winning tournaments all around the world.

We have been through some major changes in the last year, with players such as Rain, Sacsri and Kane all retiring from the pro scene. We also just parted ways with PengWin recently, who had been a long standing member of management. All of this aside, our dedication to the game which put our organization on the map is stronger now than ever and we are taking this opportunity to usher in a new era of mYinsanity’s StarCraft team!

We had been working hard to find solutions on how to proceed, and the first thing we needed to do was bring in a new manager. Luckily we have been able to find someone experienced enough to get our team back on track and breathe some new life into our StarCraft roster. We would like to give a warm welcome to Mark “Yogmark” Mejidam from the Netherlands and former manager of team mCon to the mYinsanity family!

“You took your 6th gas 20 seconds too early, now get back there and tighten it up!”

”mYinsanity is a great team, I’m really happy that this opportunity has been handed to me. I’ve been managing mCon eSports for five years now, and to be recruited by mYinsanity is a great stepping stone for me. mYinsanity is the family everyone wants to be a part off.”

– Mark “Yogmark” Mejidam

“During the last fifteen years I’ve done nothing other than managing RTS teams in different games and for different organizations. I’m extremely proud with what we have achieved at mYinsanity. Who would have thought that a Swiss organization would be able to send players all around the world and win some of the most prestigious titles such as a GSL Championship, a WCS EU Championship or a European Team Championship.

I’m happy to leave the team in the hands of Yogmark and I’m sure that he will be able to achieve mYinsanity’s goals as well as his own personal goals. My journey with mYinsanity does not end here, as I will be more focused on the local Swiss eSports scene in a different role.

I’d like to thank everyone who supported me in doing my job in the last five years, and I would also like to thank everyone who played in mYinsanity during my time as manager of the StarCraft 2 team … it was one hell of a ride!”

– Adrian “ScooTer” Gerber

While we have made changes to our StarCraft team’s management, we will also be making some changes to our roster. Leaving mYinsanity is Hydra, RayReign and Intense, and we would like to thank them for their effort and wish them best of luck in their future. The departure of these players also means the closing of our academy team, and from this point mYinsanity will consist of one team once again.

After all of these immediate changes, mYinsanity’s StarCraft 2 roster now consists of the following players…

  • PtitDrogo
  • Serral
  • Smile
  • Winter
  • Blysk
  • Zervas

We are planing to strengthen our lineup in the future, as mYinsanity is full of #passion for StarCraft 2! Be prepared for what is coming up in the next few weeks, you “may need a new pair of pants™”
